About Jyll Green, DNP, FNP
Jyll K. Green, DNP, is a passionate Family Nurse Practitioner who has spent the past twelve years helping families in the family practice field.
Jyll holds a B.S. in Nursing from Mennonite College of Nursing in Bloomington, Illinois. Afterward, she moved to Alaska and served as a Nurse at Alaska Regional Hospital and Providence Alaska Medical Center's Emergency Rooms and Intensive Care Units. She also was a Flight Nurse for Life Flight and AeroMed.
During 2004, Jyll officially became a Family Nurse Practitioner, obtaining her M.S. in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her graduate degree research revolved around the outcomes of gastric bypass surgery.
Her primary clinical specialties within the family practice and immediate care fields include hypertension, diabetes management and travel medicine. Jyl's care philosophy hones in on patient engagement. She firmly believes that the decision-making process is the most empowering when she works directly with her patients to find the best possible treatment options.
Through a positive relationship between nurse and client, the goal of good health is achieved.
