About Emily A. Garhart, RN, FNP

Emily A. Garhart, ANP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has garnered a decade of extensive hands-on expertise in her field.

Starting out, Emily studying nursing and earned her B.S.N. from the University of Alaska Anchorage. By December 2015, she received her M.S.N from the same institution. Her graduate research project focused on the evaluation of provider-directed communication strategies within the complementary and alternative health space. She also holds nine other clinical certifications from American Heart Association, Emergency Nurses Association and numerous more.

From 2009 to 2016, Emily served as a Registered Nurse at Providence Alaska Medical Center's Emergency Department. She joined the myHealth Clinic team in March 2016.

Ultimately, Emily sees herself as not only a practitioner, but an educator. This is what shapes her philosophy. Each and every patient knows what they want and what they don't want for their health. However, most patients don't know how to go about attaining their goals.

That's where Emily steps in: She serves as a coach that offers a balanced and objective approach to longevity.
